Memories At The Stanley
A Private note: I grew up at the Stanley from 1974 and lived on the property and or near there till 2022. Our family ran the hotel from 1974-1995. A book is in the works!
Memories at the Stanley evokes a timeless moment of life and connection set against the rolling meadows and mountain backdrop near the iconic Stanley landscape. Figures move gently through a field of color, their presence suggesting shared moments, quiet work, and stories passed down through time. In the distance, the familiar structure rests peacefully beneath soft skies and layered mountains.
Painted with expressive, impressionistic brushwork and luminous color, this piece blends memory and place—where the land holds echoes of the past and the present feels tender and alive. Greens, florals, and softened light create a sense of movement and warmth, inviting the viewer into a personal and reflective moment.
This painting is perfect for those drawn to meaningful landscapes, places rich with history, and artwork that carries both heart and memory—an homage to moments remembered and the spirit of a place that endures.
