Regular price$0.00 Sale price

“Golfer at the Stanley Hotel – circa early 1900s” is a vintage-inspired travel poster created from an original oil painting by artist Dawn Normali. The artwork was artistically refined and simplified into a nostalgic poster style reminiscent of classic American travel advertisements from the early twentieth century, blending impressionistic brushwork with timeless vintage charm.

The scene captures golfers enjoying the original Stanley Hotel golf course in Estes Park, Colorado, once located on the historic hotel property and believed to have been among the earliest golf courses in the Estes Park area. Today the course no longer exists, adding a sense of history and nostalgia to the piece. Built in 1909 by inventor Freelan Oscar Stanley, the Stanley Hotel remains one of Colorado’s most iconic landmarks. Dawn Normali shares a personal connection to the property, having grown up at the Stanley Hotel while her family operated the hotel from 1974 through 1996, bringing personal history and authenticity to the artwork.
